Urban master plan - Design tower volume

This urban master plan creates a public square connected to the train station across the street and creates a passageway for the students of the school, located on the other side of the building block. Furthermore, the three added volumes rise when walking up the hill of the street. The tower acts as a landmark in the area and consists of different types of apartments, collective spaces and a photography workshop area. The size of the lofts and terraces grow when rising to the top of the tower. Furthermore the units are organized to benefit from the morning or evening sun. The L-shaped units fit around the functional core and into each other like the units of le Corbusier's "Unité d'Habitation.
